Company founder Roger is a certified gas fitter, plumber and drainlayer with a strong background in heavy fabrication that spans over 20 years in the industry. Whether it’s residential, commercial or industrial work to be done, you’ll have peace of mind knowing you’re getting the best support possible from a qualified provider. Not to mention, we also offer a wide range of heating, gas and plumbing products at competitive rates and warranties. Whatever the job, we’ve got you covered.
We specialise in converting new and existing houses over to gas hot water and offer a range of gas fires and appliances to suit whatever the need. With multiple styles and colours to choose from, you’ll find the perfect fit for you and your home.
Hydro Gas and Heating also has its own line of gas heaters that come under a 7 year warranty, so you can purchase with confidence knowing we’re here for the maintenance and repairs of your product if need be. If it’s industrial or commercial fit outs you’re looking for, we carry out mechanical and maintenance services on pretty much anything. Just ask!
Heating
There’s nothing worse than being ill prepared when that chilly Southland winter season hits. To ensure you’re kept warm all year round, we have plenty of environmentally friendly, efficient heating systems and fireplaces for you to choose from. We also stock our own line of Easypell and Okofenen heating products, from valves to pumps, fittings, boilers, radiators and underfloor heating.
Plumbing
Whether you’ve got a new build or an existing home, a commercial or an industrial site needing work, we cover all aspects of plumbing. We also offer an installation service for our very own brand of hot water heater, the Reclaim System. We’re lucky enough to have built great relationships with some of our Southland retailers, which means we’ve got a few plumbing perks up our sleeve. If you do decide to go with our services, you’ll have access to a variety of taps and fixtures through our personal account — and at trade cost.
Drainage
Got a blocked drain? Maybe you need help installing drainage from scratch. We have extensive experience in all things drainage, from effluent field management and installation to house drains, pumps and major earthworks, no job is too big or too small.
Welding & Fabrication
With over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Roger is your go-to for all welding and fabrication projects. With a trade qualification in heavy fabrication engineering, he specialises in anything from the welding of pipe works to brackets and frames, mechanical services, installs, repairs and general maintenance.
